Kamla is based on a true story and a play on the same by renowned playwright Mr. Vijay Tendulkar.
This is a story of a journalist who purchased a woman for Rs.8000 from a village to prove that there is large racket of human trafficking and political involvement also present, all this has been done to throw away the woman after the said purpose is done. The show chronicles the journey of Kamla the lead of this show.
