Uttamrao Chandorkar, the fierce head of the village, pins down anyone whoever goes against his will, including his own daughter; Revati, who is a rich and educated girl. However, she gathers the courage to be with the one she loves. Shridhar is a poor and humble boy. They get married in unfavorable circumstances, however they learn to face and deal with the hardships of life and relationships.
